Finecobank: Revenues rise by double digits, with profits of €340 million. Funding nearly reaches €9 billion.

Finecobank: Revenues rise by double digits, with profits of €340 million. Funding nearly reaches €9 billion.

The parade of bank quarterly reports continues at Piazza Affari. Today it's the turn of Finecobank which closed the half-year with "brilliant results" which "are part of a trend of constant acceleration of the bank's growth path, highlighting the success of our business model in a phase of evident change in customer needs", commented Alessandro Foti, CEO of FinecoBank.

Fineco: double-digit revenue growth

Fineco closed the first six months of 2026 with revenues of 713,8 million, up 10,8% compared to the same period in 2025 with growth in all business areas. Net profit stands at 340 million (+7,1%) while profit from continuing operations (excluding non-recurring expenses net of taxes) amounted to €343,3 million (+8%). Net financial income rose to €339,4 million (+7,7%) thanks to "the volume effect, which more than offset the decline in market rates during the period," Fineco explains in the statement.

Just in second quarterRevenues rose to €370,9 million (up 8,2% from the previous quarter and 17,7% from the second quarter of 2025). Net profit from continuing operations for the quarter was €181,1 million, up 11,7% from the previous quarter and 17,9% year-over-year.

Returning to the first half of the year, the non-financial margin stood at €375,1 million (+13,5%): the investing area contributed €214,2 million (+11,1%) thanks to the volume effect and the increased contribution from Fineco Asset Management; the brokerage contribution was approximately €140,4 million (+16,4%) and that of banking was €25,4 million (+16,1%). 

Operating costs for the first six months of 2026 “confirmed to be under control” at 192,8 million (+11,4%), while personnel expenses amounted to 79,4 million (+7,6%). 

The cost/income ratio is equal to 27%, the operating profit is 521 million at 30 June 2026 (+10,6%), the CET1 ratio at 23,18% as of June 30, 2026, compared to 23,34% as of March 31. 

Fineco: collections approach 9 billion

Net collections are growing strongly, which rose to €8,9 billion (+34,8%), with direct deposits at €0,6 billion (+75,5%), asset management at €2,6 billion (in line), and assets under administration at €5,8 billion (+57,8%). Fineco Asset Management's assets under management amounted to €46,2 billion (+21%), of which €31,2 billion related to retail classes (+17,6%) and €15 billion related to the underlying funds of the wrappers (+28,8%). New customer acquisition continued, amounting to 125.594 in the first half of the year (+25,9%), bringing the total to 1.897.045 customers (+9,7%).

CEO Alessandro Foti underlines that “it has further interest in managed savings solutions has strengthened from customers, thus fostering steady growth in brokerage revenues. Fineco is therefore ideally positioned to seize any further growth opportunities in the near future, also thanks to the bank's ability to attract a broad base of new, high-quality customers.

Partnership with Cnp Assicura for the Life branch

In the note on the first half results, Fineco announced that it has signed an agreement with Cnp Insurance have signed a four-year exclusive partnership agreement for the distribution of life insurance products, aiming to strengthen the insurance advisory solutions available to Fineco network professionals. "This consolidates a long-standing relationship that guarantees the bank a premium position in wealth advisory services for the management and protection of its clients' assets," the company emphasizes.
