The goal is to pool skills and experience to develop new solutions and transform research into concrete applications to support the digital and sustainable transition.
The partnership thus aims to create new opportunities for scientific and technological development, fostering the exchange of academic expertise and industrial know-how. Acea will contribute its experience in energy production, distribution, and management, integrated water services, and environmental services, while also identifying the research topics deemed most strategic for the group.
The collaboration program includes research projects in energy and water systems, the financing of doctoral courses (PhD) and initiatives aimed at students to support their orientation, entry into the world of work and the valorization of talents, also through the Career Service of the Polytechnic University of Milan.
Not just research, then: the agreement also aims to promote technology transfer and develop new skills, training professionals and researchers capable of addressing the challenges of digital transformation, sustainability, and infrastructure development.
