New train strike arriving Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 January with consequent inconvenience for travellers who may have to deal with delays, changes and last-minute cancellations. The strike was proclaimed "by some autonomous trade unions" - Cub Trasporti, Usb and Sgb - and will concern the "FS Group personnel Trenitalia, Trenitalia Tper and Trenord”, FS reports in a note.

The strike will have a duration of 24 hours: will start at 21pm on Saturday 25th January and will end at 21pm on Sunday 26 January 2025.

How to cancel your trip and ask for a refund
Passengers who intend to cancel their trip can request a refund starting from the strike declaration:
- up to the departure time of the booked train, for Intercity and Frecce trains;
- until midnight on the day before the strike itself, for Regional trains; alternatively they can reschedule the journey, under similar transport conditions, as soon as possible, according to seat availability.
