Kurdish-Syrian militias supported by the United States have recently entered the urban part of Raqqa, an ISIS stronghold in northern Syria. This was reported to ANSA by sources of anti-Isis activists in connection with their family members who remained in the city besieged by the Kurds on three sides.
Sources say the Kurdish-American attack takes place for now on the eastern side of the city.

The air raids carried out yesterday by the US-led anti-ISIS coalition on Raqqa they killed at least 12 civilians, as reported by the Syrian government agency Sana and the National Observatory for Human Rights in Syria (Ondus), close to the opposition.
