The ETF that bets on Trump

The God Bless America ETF, ticker “Yall”, according to the technical description provided by Bloomberg “selects U.S. companies with a capitalization of at least one billion dollars, eliminating those that have emphasized left-wing or liberal political activism and those that have shown attention to social issues with respect to shareholder return”.

Marco Piersimoni, co-head euro multi asset of Picet Am, explains to Sun 24 Hours that “this ETF demonstrates that there is a belief that Trump's election, especially if associated with a Republican majority in Congress, could put on the agenda policies diametrically opposed to those attentive to ESG issues, sustainability and diversity”.

How is Trump Media stock doing?

Today they are worth 20,57, more than three times lower than the high of $66 touched shortly after the IPO, which took place on March 27, 2024 through the merger with Digital World Acquisition Corp. The current market capitalisation amounts to 4,12 billion dollars, less than half of the 10 billion reached after the IPO.

What the polls say about the US elections

Anyone who wants to bet on Trump's victory must therefore pay close attention to theevolution of polls. According to the latest Times/Siena polls, at a national level Kamala Harris is ahead against Donald Trump: 49% to 46 percent. Similar percentages are also contained in the latest survey by expert Nate Silver, according to which Harris would be ahead with 49,3%, while Trump would be trailing with 46,2 percent.

How are things going in the States in the balance? For the New York Times the Democratic candidate would be ahead in Wisconsin (+2%), Michigan (+1%), Pennsylvania (less than 1%) and Nevada (+1%), while Trump would be ahead in Georgia (+2%), North Carolina (less than 1%) and Arizona (+2%).
