Cristina Jucker, journalist, is a candidate for the Senate of the Republic with the Together list in the Lombardy 5 constituency (Monza, Sesto San Giovanni and Cinisello).
The first law that I would like to propose aims to bring order to the bureaucracy, rationalize and simplify it. Make it even clearer, so that you understand the meaning of the procedures, logic and times. Defined, as far as possible, not entrusted to the good or bad will of any official. I think that a reform in this sense (difficult but I think not impossible, at least in small steps) is also a useful bridge for bringing citizens closer to the administration and for keeping corruption away from it. I think it can also help the development of many initiatives currently held back by bureaucratic obstacles. I am aware that it will not be easy but we absolutely have to try.
The second law concerns disinformation: I believe it is extremely important today to enact a measure that at least reduces the damage of what for me, but not only for me, is currently one of the most serious problems in the whole Western world, and beyond. The distorted representation of reality, the dissemination of deliberately false news, especially on social networks, are among the main elements that made Trump win in the US, the yes to the Brexit referendum and the growing spread of populism in Europe. Just to name a few sensational cases.
