Stocks today: Europe rises with eyes on US inflation, oil price retraces. Milan regains 52 points with Avio rallying.

Bond yields remain under pressure. Banks are performing well on the Milan Stock Exchange, with Intesa Sanpaolo standing out. Stellantis remains largely unchanged following CEO Antonio Filosa's comments on the group's future.

European stocks accelerate after US inflation data

On the equity front, Oracle infrastructures fell 1,40% despite 30% revenue growth in the fiscal first quarter, supported by demand for cloud services and data center expansion. GameStop (+4,49%), after CEO Ryan Cohen announced the purchase of one million shares at an average price of $20,375. Weak, however, Adobe (-1,98%), after forecasts considered in line with expectations.

Piazza Affari, Avio soars. Focus on the banking risk game.

A Business Square snaps Avio, which gained 7,71% and rose to the top of the main index after returning to profit in the first half of the year, with a positive result of €9,2 million. The company also confirmed its guidance for 2026, with an expected order backlog of between €2 billion and €2,1 billion.

Also highlighted banks. Intesa Sanpaolo rose 1,74% the day after the shareholders' meeting that approved the capital increase to service the takeover bid for Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena, which rose 0,66%. Positive also Tim, which benefits from the evolution of the'Poste Italiane takeover bid': Subscriptions rose to 20,9%, from 10,7% the previous session, following the relaunch of the offer to €1,97 in cash plus 0,218 Poste shares. Taking into account the stake already held, Poste now holds 36,8% of the capital. The reopening period is scheduled for September 21-25.

Among the liveliest titles also Moncler, following the inauguration of its new flagship store on Fifth Avenue in New York. The store, spanning 2.200 square meters on two floors, is the largest in the group's global network. Among the reductions, however, Eni yields 0,98% e Saipem 0,94%, while Enel retreats by 0,08% e Lottomatica 0,07%.

Oil prices fall, but Brent crude remains above $100.

On the currency market the exchange euro Dollar remains little moved, at 1,16. The Brent, although falling, remains above 105 dollars a barrel, while the wtf is trading just above $100. BTP-Bund spread stable, yield at 4,37%.

The spread between the benchmark 10-year BTP and the corresponding German bond stands at 87 basis points, the same level as yesterday, at the end of a session characterized by strong movements and a general increase in yields in the Eurozone following the ECB's decisions.
