Consip has published the new tender Integrated Energy and Health Multiservice (MIES), for the management and energy requalification of healthcare buildings in Valle d'Aosta, Piedmont, Veneto, Campania and the autonomous province of Bolzano, with a maximum value of 2,5 billion eurosThe initiative continues the national territorial coverage started with the first MIES Framework Agreement currently in the awarding phase and provides healthcare institutions with a single contract to ensure continuity and quality of energy services, comfort of environments and requalification of real estate assets, including plant management, energy supply and maintenance activities.

Here are the three qualifying elements of the new competition
The new tender has three qualifying elements: the possibility of realizing Energy efficiency and system requalification interventions through supplier investments, promoting a more sustainable management of healthcare real estate; the contribution of digital technologies for property management, through sensors and predictive maintenance solutions based on artificial intelligence, to anticipate faults, schedule interventions and improve the efficiency of services; and contractual ceilings expressed on the basis of the cubic metres of the properties served, rather than the economic value, for limit the effects of energy price volatilityA system of quotas and deadlines ensures the dynamic distribution of orders among successful bidders. A progressive discount mechanism also encourages the integrated purchase of multiple services.
