The transfer of wonders, that of Cristiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid to Juventusis taking shape. It's not official yet and maybe it's not even close, but investors believe it. In the last three sessions, including today's Thursday 5 July where it gained another 11%, the stock on the stock exchange of the Old Lady soared 22%, increasing the capitalization by approximately 150 million euro, to 816 million.
A figure, that of 150 million, which would virtually serve to detect the Portuguese ace's tag, valued at around 100 million euros, and also to pay him a year's salary, because according to what the Spanish sports newspaper Marca Cr7 writes, he wants to earn at least 30 million euros a year, as much as his direct competitors, Messi and Neymar. Not to mention that another 60 million would be recoverable from Juventus with the sale of Higuain to Chelsea.
Just the signing, but not only, Ronaldo decided to leave Spain: another reason is that he would have felt abandoned by the Madrid club, guilty of not defending him enough from the attacks by the Spanish taxman, which took the attacker to court.
Another clue: it is now clear to everyone that the blancos are looking for a successor to CR7, to the point that President Florentino Perez would have publicly invited the Brazilian Neymar, currently in force at Paris Saint Germain, to move to Madrid. Not only that: Real Madrid made the new uniforms official with a post on Twitter, in which several players appear with the new game shirt, but the Portuguese is "coincidentally" not among them.
Meanwhile, the swirl of rumors also speaks of CR7 looking for a home in Turin: we are talking about a luxurious villa in the hills, in the past the home of champions of the caliber of Zinedine Zidane, until recently Ronaldo's coach in Madrid, and Fabio Cannavaro. And last night Perez summoned his agent, Jorge Mendes, to Madrid. In short, everything leads us to think that the negotiation of the century is truly on its way.
If it goes through, Ronaldo's arrival at Juve "would be very important for the Italian championship", commented the Italian national team coach. Roberto Mancini, on the microphones of Balalaika, on Canale 5: "It could be the beginning of a journey that will allow Serie A to return to the splendor of 15 years ago, when all the champions played with us".
