Women who have reached the top with their work. Like every year, Fortune has published the ranking of the 50 most powerful women in the world outside the United States. A list of businesswomen who lead important giants of industry, finance, but above all of the tech sector.
In 2017 there have been some confirmations and several significant changes, with 11 new entries and a growing presence of women from the Asian continent.
The only Italian in the standings is Ornella Barra, who serves as co-chief operating officer of Walgreens Boots Alliance, which ranks thirteenth. Since its first inclusion in the standings, in 2010, it has always been confirmed in the top 15 positions.
