Equitalia Servizi di riscossione SpA was born today, the new company that replaces the current three collection agents (Equitalia Nord, Equitalia Centro and Equitalia Sud). The corporate reorganisation, approved by the board of Equitalia SpA last October, brings together the management of collection within a single subject which operates throughout the national territory (with the sole exception of the Sicily region).
“The reform – reads a note – makes it possible to improve the effectiveness of the collection activity and to strengthen the relationship with taxpayers, through more uniform procedures, simplification of obligations and local structures specially dedicated to assistance and services for citizens and businesses, activities which by their nature require the presence and knowledge of the territory".
The corporate reorganization determines a reduction, from three to one, of all the corporate and control bodies (BoD, boards of statutory auditors, supervisory bodies) and the related cost savings. The board of directors of Equitalia Servizi di riscossione, which will remain in office in the three-year period 2016-2018, last May 31 appointed Adelfio Moretti as general manager, former collection manager of Equitalia SpA.
The board of directors of the new company is made up of the president Giuseppe Telesca (Revenue Agency), the vice president Maria Grazia Sampietro (Inps) and the councilor Francesco Vasta (Revenue Agency).
