With the entry of December, the weather tends to stabilize: between the 2nd and the 8th, Italy will probably be under the influence of thehigh pressure, with sunny and dry days, especially in the central and northern regions. Mornings will be cold in the plains and inland valleys, often shrouded in fog, while the coasts and hills will enjoy milder and more pleasant temperatures. In Sardinia and some regions of the north-west, temperatures could be slightly above average, while in the mountains, snowfall will continue only at the highest altitudes.

A starting from December 9-10, the weather could become more variable, with clouds, scattered showers and less sunny days, especially in the Centre-South.
