Bending spoons reached a definitive agreement to acquire Airtable, a digital platform dedicated to data organization and business workflow management. The transaction will be entirely in cash and gives the US company a enterprise value of $1,285 billion. Taking into account Airtable's current net cash, the transaction implies an equity value of approximately $2,25 billion. The agreement provides for the transfer of the 100% of the issued shares and in circulation of the company.
The agreement was unanimously approved by the boards of directors of the two companies. completion is expected by the end of the year, subject to regulatory approvals and customary closing conditions. The partnership with Bending Spoons, Liu added, will ensure the company resources and long-term support to develop "the AI-native platform of the future." The goal is to transform artificial intelligence into a practical tool for automating complex processes and improving business management.
