Con tanti collezionisti in tutto il mondo, la vendita di ottobre ha visto anche il più alto valore in dollari della proprietà venduta agli offerenti online in una vendita di Phillips Editions.
Andy Warhol è andato molto bene nell’asta, con Marilyn, 1967, che ha guidato la vendita a $ 325.000, stabilendo un record per questa stampa e ogni singola stampa Marilyn. Questo, insieme a Warhol’s Mao, nel 1972, faceva parte della preziosa collezione di Diane e Alan Page, forse meglio conosciuta come la grande NFL.
Inoltre presenti opere della prestigiosa collezione di Howard Karshan, che, con sua moglie Linda, ha assemblato una delle collezioni più significative di opere d’arte moderna e del dopoguerra. Le proprietà delle collezioni private di New York, Chicago e Los Angeles erano particolarmente apprezzate dagli artisti moderni e contemporanei Come Alexander Calder, H.C.
