Votes for museums: FIRST Arte begins with the Luigi Bailo of Treviso

FIRST Art, the FIRSTonline magazine dedicated to the world of art and culture, "gives the numbers". Not in the sense that she has lost her mind, but that starting this week Marika Lion will be curating a column of report cards at Italian museums: the first episode is in her Veneto region, in Treviso, and specifically in the “Luigi Bailo” Civic Museum. We won't tell you the score, but it's very high… However, the rich menu of FIRST Arte doesn't end here: we also mention a great initiative by FAI at the Accademia dei Lincei in Rome, the launch in Naples of the exhibition of an important work by Botticelli, at the headquarters of Intesa Sanpaolo's Gallerie d'Italia, and also an update from the Venice Biennale, where controversies in the world of art and entertainment are discussed on 28 June.

Finally, the inevitable appointment with the Tale of Sunday. We re-propose here the presentation of "A disgusting place", by Andrea Santacaterina. An ordinary couple who live in a "filthy place" where no one really knows anyone and the only real house-goers become the characters on the television, always on during meals, to keep them company. When a small kindness, extraordinary for its ordinariness, brings the promise of a guest, for an invitation to dinner, the life of a couple like many others changes. Andrea Santacaterina writes a prosaic and sincere story about the distances between men, especially to which we belong but which, it seems, we are still unable to understand.
