Juve presented an official offer to Fiorentina to buy and immediately bring to Turin one of the best young goalscorers in Europe: Dusan Vlahovic, 22 next Friday. The Turin club is offering 67 million cash plus a bonus that would take the investment to over 70 million, which obviously has already infuriated Viola fans. General agreement already reached with Fiorentina.
The Serbian forward should undergo his medical tests in Turin on Thursday to be on the pitch when the championship resumes, with the match between Juve and Verona scheduled for Sunday 5 February.
Vlahovic's arrival at Juve immediately could free Alvaro Morata, who is required by Barcelona even if the Catalan club is short of financial resources, even here immediately or at the latest in June.
Furthermore, the boom-buying of the Fiorentina centre-forward could start a real market whirlwind, not only because Fiorentina will have to find a replacement – the Brazilian Cabras is in pole position – but because the other clubs will also give up all the their energies to counter the strengthening of Juve which is doing everything to recover ground in the standings and aim for entry into the next Champions League.
