Buy one Classic Ferrari for sale with Bitcoins. Now it can also be done in Europe. The Maranello company has decided to extend the possibility of purchasing its cars also with cryptocurrencies in Europe, following launching service in the US in October 2023. An innovative decision for the brand which thus responds to the needs of an increasingly young and technological clientele. With this move, Ferrari aims to strengthen its presence in the luxury sector and attract new customers in the digital age.

A Ferrari Purosangue at a cost of 6,27 Bitcoin

From the end of July 2024, European customers will have the opportunity to purchase a Ferrari using cryptocurrencies. The exact details on which cryptocurrencies will be accepted in Europe they have not yet been disclosed, but the Maranello company has indicated that it will probably follow the example of the United States, where Bitcoin and Ethereum they are already usable. At the current exchange rate, one Bitcoin is worth around 61.515,80 euros, while one Ethereum is around 3.166,13 euros.

To give an example, currently, to buy a Ferrari Thoroughbred at the price of 385.730 euro approximately 6,27 Bitcoins would be needed.

Payment in cryptocurrencies will be safe

Ferrari, explains the note, “is leveraging the experience of various companies active in the payments sector in cryptocurrencies to ensure the security of transactions”. These companies are responsible for instantly converting cryptocurrencies into traditional currency, thus reducing the risk of price fluctuations and simplifying the process for dealers. Furthermore, the solutions adopted will allow verify the origin of the funds and to protect transactions from exchange rate fluctuations.

For Ferrari dealers, the integration of cryptocurrencies represents anopportunity to attract new customers and better respond to market needs. Cryptocurrency payment solutions will allow them to accept payments without having to handle cryptocurrencies directly, as these will be converted into traditional currency through the providers' services.

By the end of 2024, Ferrari will extend cryptocurrency transactions to other countries of its international dealer network, where cryptocurrencies are legally accepted.
