Green light to ThreeSixty Investments, boutique specialized in multi-asset solutions, to operate as an Asset Management Companyby the Bank of Italy. The new company was born out of a partnership between the Generali Group and a group of professionals in the asset management landscape led by Jordan Lombard, former CEO of Pioneer Investments.
Together with Lombardo we find Mauro Ratto, professional in fixed income investment strategies and emerging markets, Diego Franzin, expert in equity strategies, Roberto Richardson, senior executive of the asset management industry and, finally, Marco Mencini, appointed senior equity portfolio in January manager.
The Generali Group holds the majority of the capital of each boutique through Genereali Investments Holding Spa. The involvement of new boutiques by the Group is aimed not only at integrating specialized and distinctive skills in the sector thanks to the experience of the partners, but also at becoming a of the top five asset management multi-boutiques in the world in terms of revenues.
In detail, the group will invest 1 billion in the first fund of the partnership as strategic capital which, subject to regulatory approval, is expected for the next half year of 2020.
The innovative Generali boutique will offer multi-asset investment solutions, given their strong growth, combining traditional investment strategies with alternative solutions, developed by independent and specialized boutiques.
According to Lombardo, the economic and market context will require a new approach in the future, so "the goal is to put clients' capital to work only where there are the best investment opportunities, without reference to traditional market benchmarks, but focusing exclusively on the returns of our customers”.
