Enav has signed up two loans linked to sustainability (ESG Sustainability Linked Term Loans) for a total amount equal to 150 million of Euro. The signing took place through two bilateral contracts signed with as many banks. The first of 100 million euros with Intesa Sanpaolo, the second from 50 million with Mediobanca.
Both lenders will act as both Original Lender and Sustainability Coordinator.
Loans will have a duration of 3 years and an interest rate indexed to the Euribor. The price will also be linked to the achievement of specific targets in the ESG area - Environmental, Social, Governance.
“These operations are part of the process already undertaken by Enav, of sustainability integration in its industrial strategy which aims to combine growth and sustainable development and confirms the Group's strong commitment to evolving towards a model aimed at increasingly consolidating sustainability as a strategic element for the creation of value for all its stakeholders”.
Lastly, ENAV specifies, the loans are part of the ordinary "proactive and prudential" management of liquidity and will be used for optimize cash flows in the next years.
A Business Square, the Enav share gained 2,35% to 2,966 euros.
