Fondazione Cdp's projects in vulnerable contexts
Born in 2020 at the instigation of Cassa Depositi e Prestiti, the CDP Foundation contributes in a complementary and additional manner to the commitment historically made by the group for the social, cultural, environmental and economic development of the country, intervening in the most fragile contextsThe Foundation's work focuses on three areas—education and social inclusion, scientific research, art and culture—with a particular focus on Southern Italy. Among its main initiatives are the "Cultural Ecosystems" call for proposals for the regeneration of cultural sites, the "Social Innovation Award," and the Social Outcome Contract, a tool that links social interventions to the achievement of measurable objectives. These are complemented by local projects, including those for Fighting school dropouts in Tor Bella Monaca, as well as initiatives for women's empowerment and the development of independent living for women victims of violence. It also promotes scientific research into innovative therapies, precision medicine, and models for the inclusion of people with disabilities, carried out in collaboration with the voluntary sector, civil society, and institutions.
